TL;DR: We collect minimal data. Your API keys and code stay in your browser.
What We DON'T Collect
Your data stays local. The following is never sent to or stored on our servers:
- API Keys - Your Gemini API key is stored only in your browser's local storage
- Generated Code - All code you generate stays in your browser
- Chat Messages - Your conversations with the AI are not logged
- Project Data - Your projects are stored locally, not on our servers
What We DO Collect
We collect limited data to improve the Service:
Analytics Data
We use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous usage data:
- Page views and navigation patterns
- Feature usage (e.g., "app generated", "export completed")
- Browser and device type
- Geographic region (country level)
Error Tracking
We use Sentry to collect error reports:
- JavaScript errors and stack traces
- Browser and OS version
- Error context (without personal data)

Data Storage
Your projects, settings, and API keys are stored in your browser's local storage. This means:
- Data persists between sessions on the same browser
- Clearing browser data will delete your projects
- Data is not synced between devices
- We cannot recover lost data
Tip: Always export important projects to GitHub to avoid data loss.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access - View what data is stored (check your browser's local storage)
- Delete - Clear your browser data to remove all ShipMobile data
- Export - Export your projects to GitHub
- Opt-out - Use browser privacy settings to block analytics
Cookies
We use minimal cookies for essential functionality:
- Session cookies for GitHub OAuth flow
- Analytics cookies (can be blocked)
We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.
Children's Privacy
ShipMobile is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
